Automobiles in German City Found Covered with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Incident location Affected vehicle Area Police
Officers reported they were contacted by a individual who discovered a car in Hanau smeared with red-colored substance

Approximately fifty vehicles have been covered with what seems to be human blood in the German municipality of Hanau close to Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.

Cars, building surfaces and postboxes were defaced, sometimes with Nazi symbols, they announced in a statement.

Law enforcement state they were notified late on Wednesday night, when a man discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been smeared with a red-colored substance.

The liquid had been placed in the form of a swastika, they stated.

Officers then located multiple other vandalized automobiles and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

These symbols are prohibited in Germany under legislation banning the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials report initial examinations show the fluid was likely human blood.

"At present there remains no clue as to where it came from; investigators are presently not aware of any physical harm in association with the event," they added.

Local authorities stated they were attempting "to unravel the mystery" and have requested to the public for details.

A high-ranking representative said the vandalism left him stunned and had to be resolved promptly.

"This incident hits the center of Hanau and revives the wounds of the right-wing attack in 2020," he stated on social media, mentioning the death of nine people by a assailant targeting individuals of migrant background in five years prior.
